Balogun prepares for shoulder surgery, will rest for 4 months

Monaco striker Folarin Balogun is set to be out for four months. After undergoing surgery on a shoulder injury. Manager Adi Hutter has confirmed.

Balogun missed six Ligue 1 games after dislocating his shoulder in October. Returning in late November for the Champions League game against Benfica, ยูฟ่าเบท. Then starting in the 2-1 defeat at Marseille before being substitute in the 68th minute.

Monaco coach Adi Hutter confirmed on Monday: “He will undergo surgery tomorrow (Tuesday). He will be out for four months.”

The US forward is unlikely to return to action until April next year, or near the end of the season, and will miss the CONCACAF Nations League in March. 

Balogun has made 10 appearances in all competitions for Monaco this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist as Monaco sit third in the league, seven points behind Paris Saint-Germain.
